Occupational Therapy

School based occupational therapy addresses physical, sensory, social-emotional, and cognitive areas of performance within the school setting. Activities during occupational therapy sessions can address many areas including fine motor, self-care, play, hand strengthening, sensory processing, hand writing, visual perception and discrimination skills, and more.

Bloom’s occupational therapy department works with students across settings to improve functioning across all aspects of a student’s educational experience and offers suggestions for adaptations and modifications to tasks to our entire staff so students can function more independently.
