This month's Bloom learning theme is "Sand!"

The students in Miss Ashley's classroom at our Grand Island location experimented with a sensory table containing green sand and other Saint Patrick's Day items!

What it teaches:

- Learning about how sand looks and feels

- Practicing colors

- Counting with coins

- Saint Patrick's Day vocabulary

- Fine motor skills

Why it rocks:

- Students get to experiment with different materials and practice using adjectives to describe new items!

What you can do at home:

- Make your own sensory table at home using any bin or Tupperware container! Try with water, rice, popcorn kernels, etc. for fun exploring! Can hide items or pictures in a bin and practice vocabulary by saying each item you find!
