Sensory Pathways

This year at Bloom we've added sensory pathways in our halls!

This one in particular has the alphabet on fluffy clouds. The students loves saying their ABCs while stepping, stomping, or jumping on each letter. Interspersed are lines to walk on, dots to hop on, stops for wall push-ups, tracing, counting, and more.

Sensory pathways help students with focus, following prompts, gross motor skills, and regulating their sensory system to be able to learn and play inside the classroom.

We all need body breaks from time to time!
This can easily be recreated at home with floor tape, print outs, pillows, etc. Get creative!

Share your at home pathways with us...we would love to see all your creative ideas.
